Ginny and Sid letting you know we have spaces to ride tomorrow (Thursday) on the Level 2A with Leanne at 4.30pm.

2A riders are:
🧡Developing confidence riding without an assistant on the ground.
🧡 Further developing balance through turns and circles.
🧡 Developing deeper understanding of the aids we use to communicate with horses including voice, seat, leg and rein.
🧡 Having fun!

This Saturday (7th) from 3pm. Fun and informal (very informal!) Dog Showjumping and obstacle races. £4 per dog per class. Please enter at 3pm. All dog must be kept on a lead 🐶. Please clean up after your dog!

It’s unfortunately time to talk about price increases. Our costs keep going up, we can’t absorb the increases and we won’t compromise on care standards. Here’s just some of our costs for 2024 to date!

This lesson is for those getting started with jumping or building confidence. You’ll learn how to maintain a soft and balanced jumping position, ride a good line to a fence, ride effective and balanced turns between fences and have lots of fun! Riders must be level 3 or above.

Larry doesn’t always make friends easily but he took an immediate shine to Rio and the feeling seemed to be mutual (Rio appears to get along with everyone) 🖤
Mutual grooming of each other’s necks and shoulders has been shown to reduce horses’ heart rates and boost oxytocin (bonding hormone). We get similar benefits when we’re slowly stroking or scratching horses 🧡

Larry, Rio and Ollie have had a visit from Tim Baty Equine Dentistry today. A serious issue with one of Ollie’s molars was identified which, if left, would have caused life threatening injury. Rio and Larry needed a tidy up to ensure they are comfortable. It’s so important to get horses teeth checked regularly as they continue to grow throughout their lives 🦷🪥
