What We Do

Our experienced team are able to work effectively with a wide range of children and young people and we find that horses are a fantastic medium for engagement.

One off visits - We can cater for groups of up to 30 participants; we offer a carousel of activities including riding, pony care, art and craft and storytelling. You could even combine at trip to the stables with a visit to our NEIGHbours at Ouseburn Farm, Seven Stories and the Victoria Tunnel. Please get in touch with our reception office (0191 261 5544 or hello@stepneybankstables.com) to discuss your requirements.

Regular lessons – you can book a regular group class with us and we’ll support your students towards their goals. The session can be riding only or a combination of riding and horse care. We can build in accreditation so that students complete industry recognised qualifications. Please get in touch with our reception office (0191 261 5544 or hello@stepneybankstables.com) to discuss your requirements.

Alternative provision – We deliver the Changing Lives Through Horses program which is mapped against the curriculum. Students can attend for 1 or 2 hour sessions and cover all aspects of horse care and riding. We work with young people to develop their Confidence, Communication, Responsibility, Team work, Perseverance and Relationships. Again accreditation is available so that students leave with a recognised qualification. Pleas contact our youth team (alternate.provision@stepneybankstables.com) for more details.
